UH Ventures Qualifications Centre - World class training for the care sector

Research released earlier this year by City & Guilds found that 89% of organisations now see Apprenticeships as key to the future success over the next two years.* The Qualifications Centre at UH Ventures is one of the few national training providers specialising in the delivery of Apprenticeships to the care and health sectors.
Government funding means UH Ventures can offer you fully and part-funded Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care. As part of the University of Hertfordshire Group of Companies, they are in the unique position of being able to offer you the full spectrum of training from fundamental English and Maths all the way through to degrees and higher degrees. This includes the new Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Care Services.
An Apprenticeship is a combination of robust classroom-based teaching, workplace assessment and functional skills such as English and Maths. Unlike an NVQ, it is not just based on workplace assessment.
UH Ventures will allocate each learner a dedicated Assessor who will conduct regular workplace observations, progress reviews every eight weeks and provide ongoing mentoring services to ensure that timely completion of the Apprenticeship is ensured.
In addition to Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care, they also offer a range of Apprenticeships and other vocational qualifications in Health, Customer Services, Business Administration and Management.
