Big Squeeze Campaign

LVSC have recently launched their third 'Big Squeeze' survey to study the impact of the recession and public spending cuts on the capital's voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations and the Londoners they serve.

The survey is a great opportunity for organisations to voice the issues affecting them as a result of spending cuts and the recession. The information can help influence strategic policy and decision-makers to understand the impact of recent cuts and the recession and how this affects Londoners reliant on voluntary services. It can also help us to put pressure on decision-makers to take steps to lessen the impact of the cuts.

The survey includes questions about:
• how the economy and changes in policy are affecting your clients, demand on services and impacting on your organisation
• the impact of funding cuts on Londoners and your organisation
• lessons learned from challenges faced and how that learning can be taken forward

The deadline to the complete the survey is 6.00pm Tuesday 31st May 2011
