Time: 10am – 1pm
Venue: HCVS, 84 Springfield House, 5 Tyssen Street, London E8 2LY

Setting up a voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisation, charity or social enterprise requires a variety of factors such as good governance, a clear financial plan and a team to help you get there.

Come along to the HCVS Ready Steady Go programme to get advice on:
• Governance - trustee roles and responsibilities
• Effective project planning
• Which legal structure to choose – Registering as a charity, company limited by guarantee or community interest company
• Essential policies and procedures – Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities etc.
• Having a clear vision and mission

This event is geared towards people who want to, or just have, set up a voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisation, charity or social enterprise. This is not for people who want to set up a commercial organisation.
