FREE workshops - qualifications, recruitment&retention and benefits of Olympics
“Working to improve local opportunities”
Skills for Care London will be running this FREE workshop on 26th January 2010. The workshop will explore how the 2012 Olympics and its legacy can aid the social care sector.

The workshop will look at:
• What opportunities there are in terms of skills, employment, volunteering – that could be taken up by the sector
• as well as what the Olympics will leave behind in terms of legacy (economic, social as well as structural presence) e.g. pool of possible entrants to the social care sector from those undertaking volunteering roles
• what opportunities exist for local services and how you can become involved
