Public Consultation - Out Of Hours Urgent Dental Care Review
1st October - 30th November 2009
A review of out of hours urgent dental care has been carried out across North East London. The services included within the review are the out of hours dental telephone triage and the out of hours Emergency Dental Services based at South Hornchurch Clinic and the Royal London Hospital.
As a result of feedback received throughout the review a wide variety of changes to the services are being proposed, these changes will ensure the services remain accessible to all groups within the community whilst at the same time ensuring those with urgent dental needs are given the opportunity to attend an appointment within a reasonable timeframe.
All seven NHS Organisations within the North East Sector wish to ensure the communities within their areas are given the opportunity to give their view.
Click here to view a Consultation Briefing that will give you some more detail, outline the proposed changes and give you an opportunity to give your view.
Responses can be given by sending the completed responses to the Freepost address, completing the on-line consultation response form, e-mailing and telephoning the Project Manager. All contact details are provided on the last page of the briefing.
If you require further information regarding the review please see www.towerhamlets.nhs.uk/consultations.
