CIU Conference - 6 November 2008
The CIU’s annual conference on Thursday 6th November entitled “Why East London’s Civil Society Matters” will provide an opportunity to discuss these important issues. Speakers at the conference include the chief executive of NCVO, Stuart Etherington, along with Lisa Greensill from the Government Office for London and Penny Waterhouse from the National Coalition for Independent Action.
The conference takes place at Durning Hall in Forest Gate from 9.45am to 4.30pm and registration is just £10 for funded voluntary and community groups or £20 for individuals from statutory sector bodies.
