Support for the HR function
Much of the research undertaken over the past few years has concluded there remains a need to strengthen the provision of Human Resource Management (HRM) to the Voluntary and Community Sector [VCS].
Voluntary and Community Organisations [VCOs] need to have easy access to information and resources to support and underpin good management and employment practice. A number of Infrastructure Development Plans produced by each borough and the sub region highlight HRM as a continued need.
The East London CVS Network continues to explore how the provision of HRM support in the sub-region can be addressed.

Employment Law and HR Advice
PEACe – LVSC's (London Voluntary Sector Consortium) - Personnel Employment Advice and Conciliation Service (PEACe) offers expert support and advice on all employment related issues to voluntary sector employers and advisors in London. They support frontline and second tier organisations directly as well as building the capacity of advisors and development workers to give employment law support.
